The NEX-FS700R is equipped with a new 4K Exmor Super 35 CMOS sensor featuring full 2K RAW up to 240fps or 4K RAW up to 60fps output. The high-speed readout chip is optimized for motion picture shooting, producing exceptional image fidelity with high sensitivity, low noise and minimal aliasing. The FS series camera’s E-mount is designed to accept virtually all 35mm SLR, DSLR and cinematography lenses. It features "S Log2" which allows the very wide latitude of the camera to be captured. The camera also features 800% 709 gamma curves, widely enhancing its exposure latitude and HD capability.

Sony PMW-EX3 Now Available!

For affordable non-linear professional high definition acquisition Production Outfitters
now offers the Sony PMW-EX3. A high definition camcorder capable of a variety of frame
rates and resolutions using Sony’s new XDCAM-EX intraframe codec. A “big-brother” to the
PMW-EX1, the PMW-EX3 ups the ante by providing an interchangeable lens mount. The mount
allows the use of our optional adapter to put a variety of professional lenses on the
camera, including 1/2″ and 2/3″ bayonet mounts.

Enhancing both usability and workflow efficiency, the PMW-EX3 has an extensive set of
features that push the boundaries of traditional handheld cameras, including a continuous
record time of up to 140 minutes! Whether shooting in 720p, 1080i, or 1080p modes, the
PMW-EX3 has it all covered. Its bevy of output settings lets users take advantage of fast
and slow motion, as well as popular frame rates such as the “film-like” 24p mode. We also
carry the RM-B150 remote control units for control of both this camera our F800 and other
popular Sony cameras.

field monitor is another leap in Sony imaging technology. Using the
new OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology, blacks are black,
contrast is mesmerizing and your picture never looked so good. The
new “Flip” feature can swap the image horizontally, vertically, or
combined so that over and under 3D rig viewing is a simple push of a
button. The SD/HD/3G input is an option so even display of HD 60P
images is a snap.

Albuquerque, NM – Production Outfitters recently produced 3D stock footage of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Director/DP Gary Marsh, Stereographers Erik Donald and Allan Crawford shot for three days capturing amazing HD, 3D stock footage. "3D stock footage is a growing demand that we are meeting every day here at Production Outfitters." Marsh adds. "We have constructed our own rig to support true, HD 3D using our existing high end Sony CineAlta 2/3 in chip cameras, to achieve true cinematic HD, 3D production."

Sony PDW-F800 HD XDCAM

Albuquerque, NM – The PDW-F800 camcorder is the newest member of our CineAlta HD line. It is equipped with three 2/3-inch type CCDs and a “Power HAD FX” progressive CCD with 1920 x 1080 effective pixels. Stunning-quality HD images can be captured at a data rate of up to 50Mbps using the MPEG-2 4:2:2 compression.

Our F800 is seening lots of action behind the scenes of “Knockout” and most recently on the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships on ESPN for Windfall Productions.

The F800 is a great addition to the growing arsenal of HD cameras at Production Outfitters. It provides multi-format recording flexibility including 1080i, 720P and SD, which comes with HD/SD conversion and cross conversion between 1080i and 720P.
