Sony NEX-FS700R Now Available!

Production Outfitters is happy to announce the arrival of the Sony NEX-FS700R to our ever expanding inventory. The NEX-FS700R is equipped with a new 4K Exmor Super 35 CMOS sensor featuring full 2K RAW up to 240fps or 4K RAW up to 60fps output. The high-speed readout chip is optimized for motion picture shooting, producing exceptional image fidelity with high sensitivity, low noise and minimal aliasing. The FS series camera’s E-mount is designed to accept virtually all 35mm SLR, DSLR and cinematography lenses. It features "S Log2" which allows the very wide latitude of the camera to be captured. The camera also features 800% 709 gamma curves, widely enhancing its exposure latitude and HD capability.

Production Outfitters was happy to provide our studio facilities to this groundbreaking film. The first film of its kind, DOMINION incorporates multiple real UFO and conspiracy cases into a provocative tale of an impending extraterrestrial invasion. Shooting the sealed models Gary Marsh DP'd the green screen shoot at Studio 66 to help Thunder Bay Feature Films bring the UFO to life.

Holly Holm Carried Live

Production Outfitters partnered with Fresquez Productions to produce a complete broadcast of Havoc MMA 2013 featuring Holly Holm vs Angela Hayes. This professionally packaged show complete with graphics and announcers was seen by an estimated 5 Thousand viewers Live via the web from Route 66 Casino & Hotel.

Wheels of Yesteryear: Touring with the Tin Lizzies

Production Outfitters has just completed the 30 minute program Wheels of Yesteryear: Touring with the Tin Lizzies. This show was produced in partnership with KENW-TV, PBS as an original program. Producer/Director Glenn Graham, DP/Editor Zach Armstrong and Sound Allan Crawford brought us these photos of their timeless experience on the road with the Tin Lizzies.

Wheels of Yesteryear: Touring with the Tin Lizzies documents the Tin Lizzies on the “Llano Estacado Tour” of eastern New Mexico. The program offers a glimpse of the fun and passion these enthusiasts have for the Model T Ford. They offer the pub- lic a living history of sorts, sharing their knowledge of the automobile, allowing a firsthand view of the vehicles, and even wearing the clothing of the era. You’ll get a glimpse of the work days in the garage preparing the cars for tours, see some of the challenges they face with driving century old automobiles, and the endurance of each participant during the tour. You’ll also get to see some of the interesting places they visit along the way.

Wheels of Yesteryear airs: Monday, October 7th at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22nd at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 27th at 1:30 p.m.

On HD3-1, the program airs: Saturday, October 12th at 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 13th at 3:30 p.m.

Bye, Bye Breaking Bad! We’ll miss you!

AMC has wrapped the final and much anticipated episode of the groundbreaking series Breaking Bad here in Albuquerque and Production Outfitters has had the pleasure of being a part of it all.

It all started for us back in 2007, when a very funny guy named Dean Norris called to make a holiday spoof on a show he was working on called Breaking Bad. We didn’t know anything abut the show yet, but we learned that Dean and the cast of Breaking Bad was fun to work with and up for anything.

We later met AMC’s Producers Mary Novak (Selitti) and Katherine Garrison and worked closely with them to shoot Behind the Scenes, Webisodes, and promos for each season.

All of us here at Production Outfitters want to give AMC, Vince Gilligan, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and all of the cast and crew of Breaking Bad a huge thanks for their generosity, friendliness and amazing work and professionalism.

Your talent and hard work has put Albuquerque, New Mexico on the map for the entire world. Your presence here has left a lasting legacy on the lives of Albuquerque residents and especially to the crew at Production Outfitters.

You will be missed. We can’t wait to screen the grand finale with the rest of the world!

Had the opportunity to work with the Production Outfitters team for a National Geographic Learning filming. What a hard working and creative team! I had so much fun during this shoot. It was an absolute pleasure to work with all the team members. I even learned a lot about the process. This was my first time using a teleprompter and the team was great and really patient with walking me through the process! It helped me pick up the skill faster and we were able to wrap up quickly!Would highly recommend if you are looking for a professional, creative and skilled filming team!

Ryan and David were awesome.This was my first time recording a video using a teleprompter. They knew what they were doing (as far as I could tell) and worked calmly and efficiently. They answered my questions and provided just enough help to make me feel comfortable doing the recordings, but not so much that they made me feel stupid. They made just enough small talk to put me at ease but weren’t overly chatty---or weird. No creeper vibes. No “bro” vibes. Just quiet, friendly professionalism. AND they were on time, which in New Mexico is a big deal.This was not a crew or a job I booked. I was just there to record the video for a company I work for (Forbes). If I had work like this to do in the future, they are definitely who I would try to schedule first.

I was referred to Production Outfitters when we needed to crew a 3-month BTS/EPK shoot in Albuquerque and I could not be happier with the experience.
